Florida Quantum

Organizing Florida's Quantum Future

Florida Quantum is a statewide initiative committed to building the foundation for a competitive quantum industry in Florida. We focus on ecosystem coordination, workforce development, and market readiness—including the exploration of capital pathways and investment opportunities tied to quantum technologies.

As an organized statewide collective, Florida Quantum connects academia, private industry, government, and emerging capital networks to accelerate progress in a field that will define the next era of technological competitiveness.

Our mission is to inspire quantum companies to build in Florida, cultivate a skilled workforce for the quantum era, and help diversify the state's technology investment portfolio within this rapidly emerging ecosystem.

Why It Matters

Quantum science and technology are moving from theory to application. Across the country and around the world, quantum systems are beginning to impact computing, sensing, security, communications, and advanced manufacturing. Governments are mobilizing, industry is accelerating, and new standards are taking shape.

Florida is positioned to lead.

With a growing innovation economy, a strong university network, major industry presence, and a history of pioneering advanced technology—from aerospace to applied research—Florida has the foundation to become a national hub for quantum technology development and commercialization.
